Welcome to Turtle Creek Inn By The Sea!
We are a small country inn located on the very small island of Little Exuma in the Bahamas. Turtle Creek Inn is a lovingly restored authentic island house with a rich history dating to the 1700s. The inn is surrounded by natural gardens with flowers, fruits, and native foliage and a most spectacular sea the color of liquid gemstones.
Kayaking is our thing! We are next to Moriah Cay Harbour National Park, which provides a spectacular expanse of Bahamian seascapes to explore by kayak. White sandy beaches invite play as well as total relaxation and immersion into an ideallic island experience.
Turtle Creek Inn consists of three lovely studio apartments. The ground level studios have beautiful garden views and one upstairs studio apartment has expansive ocean and island views.
Ocean View will accommodate up to two people with either two twin beds or a king bed.
Garden View One will accommodate up to two people in a queen bed.
Garden View Two will accommodate up to two people with either two twin beds or a king bed.
Each offers a nicely appointed kitchenette with a refrigerator, toaster oven, two-burner cook top and coffee maker. A thoughtful selection of cookware, utensils and dinnerware is provided for those who wish to cook for themselves. Kitchen linens, dish soap and paper towels included. We make our own water with a reverse osmosis system.
Floors are tiled, Windows have room darkening drapes. Bathrooms feature a tiled walk-in shower. Bath linens, bath tissue, hair dryer and soap are included. Quality bed linens are provided and a change of linens as requested.

The studios are available for simple rental, or as part of an all inclusive package. The all inclusive package will supply you with studio, all meals (deliciously prepared at the inn plus perhaps some meals at our favorite restaurants), daily activities ( Guided Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Snorkeling), taxi service to and from the airport and transportation to local beaches.
Simple rental of a studio gives you a clean, comfortable, private, affordable, and secure base. Rent a car for your stay and explore the island on your own.
Our waterfront features a multi-level deck with a shaded seating area that features stunning views of the surrounding sea. The boathouse is situated on a wooded hillside overlooking a lovely creek and mangrove marshes. We supply kayaks and paddleboards that can be launched from our dock into the creek. A short paddle will lead you to the famous Cut Beach, aka "the lazy river" on Moriah Harbor Cay.
Within a short walk is a neighborhood bar, convenience store, and a Friday night bar-b-que.
Exuma is an ideal choice to truly get away from the everyday routine and enjoy an island paradise!
Activities available include world class kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, boating, bird watching, and beach excursions.
We are uniquely situated in a location to offer a wide variety of kayaking terrains for all skill levels. There are numerous mangrove marshes and trails surrounded by flats with crystal clear water and an abundance of marine life. Venturing offshore for ocean kayaking in Exuma is a surreal experience, with water so clear you can see the ripples in the sand 30 feet down!
The beaches are a destination in themselves, offering an opportunity to walk, swim, picnic, play, work-out in a natural tidal current, snorkel, or just relax! Pretty Molly Bay and Forbe's Hill Beach are 2 miles or a 4 minute drive from the inn. Tropic of Cancer Beach is 5 miles or a 10 minute drive from the inn. The stunning beaches of Moriah Harbor Cay that can only be accessed by boat or kayak, including "the lazy river", are a 20 minute paddle from the inn.
